The role
Apprentices will be integrated into a group setting within our fast-paced, challenging environment. We expect all team members to be diligent, proactive, and meticulous in their work, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and on time
Liaising day-to-day with the traffic team regarding prebooked VBS slots
Pre-booking when necessary
Review missed VBS slots/charges to determine whether they are to be recharged
Review monthly charges and figures - liaising with management
Build and maintain relationships with the relevant ports and depots
Future prospects.
Full time position available subject to apprentice performance
Payment in line with market rates and location for the role

Desired skills
4-9 grades English and maths GCSE's
Ability to drive would be an advantage.
Local commute essential
Confident with excellent communication skills.
Ability to multitask and manage reception in conjunction with other administration duties
Good attention to detail
Good working knowledge of ICT packages including Word, Excel and Outlook.
Ability to demonstrate or gain a clear understanding of the firm's in-house systems where training will be given
Excellent presentation, organisation and timekeeping skills
Awareness of confidentiality and safeguarding
The ability to use own initiative, be able to work individually as well as part of a team
Must be well-presented with a clear, pleasant telephone manner

You will complete the Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship Standard.
This Apprenticeship will involve off the job training.
You will also develop your knowledge, skills and behaviours.
You need to have an employer to support your Apprenticeship and be employed in a relevant job role.
The typical length of this Apprenticeship course is 18 months.
