Hourly rate: 13.10/hr
Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm
38.75 hours per week.

We are currently seeking an administrative assistant to join our team at Rylands Nursing Home. As an administrative assistant you will be the first point of contact for anyone contacting the Home and will provide vital admin support. If you enjoy working in a busy office environment we would love to hear from you.
Essential Criteria:
GCSE Maths and English minimum Grade C.
Experience working in a busy office setting.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word and Excel with experience inputting financial data .
Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential both written and verbal.
Desirable Criteria:
Working knowledge of Xero computerised accounts. However, training will be provided.
Proficiency in creating flyers and posters.
Tasks will include but are not limited to:
Dealing with incoming telephone calls and emails from members of the public, organisations, relatives and health professionals and passing them on to the relevant department.
Inputting financial data.
Inputting data onto Xero.
Putting new staff onto our elearning system.
Inputting staff rotas onto our inhouse system.
Placing orders for goods.
Creating flyers and posters.
Maintaining the filing system.
Carrying out general office duties and any other administrative tasks as required by management and other departments.
Complete elearning as part of essential training.
Attend face to face training sessions.
