Job Overview
We are seeking an organised and proactive Part-Time Administrator to join our team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys a varied workload, thrives in a small business environment, and has excellent communication and organisational skills. You will support the day-to-day operations of our plumbing and heating business, ensuring smooth administrative processes and exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Communication:
Handle incoming calls, emails, and inquiries, scheduling appointments for our engineers, and providing updates to customers.
Administrative Support:
Manage job bookings, prepare invoices, process payments, and maintain accurate customer and job records.
Office Management:
Maintain filing systems, and ensure the office runs efficiently.
Coordination:
Liaise with engineers to coordinate schedules, ensuring a timely service.
Data Entry:
Maintain databases with customer information, job details, and service records.
General Support:
Assist with ad-hoc tasks, such as preparing quotes, responding to customer feedback, and supporting marketing efforts.
Requirements
Experience:
Previousadministrative/customer service experience preferred but not essential.
Skills:
Strong organisational and time-management skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Basic IT skills and familiarity with a CRM system is a plus.
Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
