We are looking for a motivated, passionate individual to join our small but ambitious team as an Office Administrator and Warehouse Operative, with a focus on customer service, sales support and warehouse operations.
This is a varied and hands-on role office role suited to someone who enjoys working across different areas of the business. You will be supporting the day-to-day running of the office while providing excellent service, as well as hands on involvement in warehouse operations. We are a fast-growing business and as we grow you will have the opportunity to contribute your ideas to help us improve our systems and optimise our processes. The role requires a proactive, flexible individual who is comfortable switching between office-based tasks and practical warehouse duties.
Key responsibilities include:
Answering incoming phone calls and handling general and sales enquiries
Converting incoming sales enquiries
Providing customers with updates regarding delivery
Responding to emails in a professional and timely manner
General office administration and diary management
Managing inventory of office supplies
Data entry and maintenance of digital filing systems
Preparing job packs for deliveries
Supporting colleagues with ad hoc administrative tasks
Managing messages via Tawkto (website chat)
Handling complaints efficiently and professionally
Writing short scripts/captions to support the social media team
Assisting with marketing promotions
Helping to build and maintain our agent network
Providing ad hoc admin support to the Managing Director
Undertaking various warehouse duties
Preparing stock for deliveries
We're looking for someone who:
Has a positive, enthusiastic attitude and enjoys being part of a team
Provides excellent customer service
Has previous office-based experience
Remains calm and confident when handling a high volume of enquiries
Has strong problem-solving skills and uses their initiative
Has excellent written and verbal English
Has solid numeracy skills
Is highly competent with standard office IT tools
Is willing to get stuck in and help wherever needed
