We are looking for a reliable and organised Office Administrator / Receptionist to join our team from mid January. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being the first point of contact in a busy office and supporting day-to-day administrative and operational tasks.
Key Responsibilities
Answer and direct incoming phone calls
Welcome visitors and maintain the visitor log
Maintain filing systems (digital and paper)
Keep contact lists up to date
Prepare meetings, including agendas and ordering refreshments
Order office supplies and organise office storage
Maintain a clean, professional reception area
Book travel arrangements when required
Provide general administrative support to senior managers
Liaise with other departments to handle requests and queries
Support HR and operations with admin tasks such as:
Setting up new starters on internal systems
Preparing timesheets and basic records
Issuing and collecting company equipment
Assist with general office and yard-related admin tasks as needed
About You
Previous experience in an admin or receptionist role is preferred
Strong organisational and time management skills
Confident phone manner and professional communication
Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Able to handle multiple tasks in a busy environment
Proactive, reliable, and detail-oriented
