Job Overview


We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Credit Controller to join our office team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing outstanding debts, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring timely payments from clients. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong administrative and communication skills to contribute to the smooth financial operations of our organisation.

Pay negotiable depending on experience.

Duties



Monitor and follow up on overdue accounts to ensure prompt payment Maintain accurate records of all credit transactions using accounting software such as QuickBooks and Microsoft Office applications Communicate effectively with clients via phone, email, and written correspondence to resolve payment issues Conduct data entry related to credit accounts and update client information regularly Collaborate with the sales and finance teams to resolve discrepancies and improve collection processes Prepare regular reports on outstanding balances and collection activities for management review Assist in the administration of credit limits and credit terms in accordance with company policies Organise documentation related to credit control activities, ensuring compliance with organisational standards Answer incoming phone calls and respond to customer enquiries promptly and professionally

Qualifications



Proven office experience, preferably within a finance or administrative role Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace applications Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks is highly desirable Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently Good typing speed and data entry accuracy Strong phone etiquette and communication skills for effective client interactions Previous clerical or administrative experience is advantageous Ability to work independently while maintaining attention to detail and organisational standards
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From 12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 18 per week
