We are looking for an Office Assistant to join our CEO Office team in London. The role is part time and on a permanent basis, working 32 hours per week.



This is a great opportunity for an experienced, proactive administrator with excellent communication skills to join a small, friendly team which supports the daily office needs of a diverse range internal and external stakeholders based both in London and regionally across England.



As Office Assistant, you will provide administrative support to the Office Manager and CEO team to enhance the experience of those working within the office and help make it a welcoming and efficient place to work.



You will manage visitor and room bookings as well as post and deliveries, and you'll be the first point of contact to staff, guests and contractors for information about office attendance and usage. You will help to maintain the safety, efficiency and tidiness of the office including office equipment and supplies, liaising with building staff and conducting audits to keep accurate records of resources, maintenance visits and storage.



To be considered as an Office Assistant, you'll need:



Excellent written and verbal communication skills; confidence in building relationships with people at all levels To be able to organise efficiently, managing competing priorities and with good attention to detail Good IT skills; proficiency in MS Office and comfortable using basic office equipment; experience in office administration To enjoy working in a small team dedicated to continuously improving processes, providing collaborative on-site support to a wide range of people An interest in the work of English Heritage.
