Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Office Manager to oversee our administrative operations and ensure the smooth running of our office. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills, be proficient in clerical tasks using the Microsoft suite, and have experience with SAGE. This role requires excellent communication abilities, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to fostering a positive work environment.
Responsibilities
Supervise daily office operations to ensure efficiency and productivity.
Utilise SAGE for managing purchasing, customer orders, invoicing, and deliveries.
Communicate effectively with team members and external stakeholders to facilitate smooth operations.
Dispatch monthly statements to customers and follow up on unpaid invoices.
Maintain professional phone etiquette when handling inquiries and correspondence.
Assist with human resources functions such as onboarding new employees and maintaining personnel records.
Organise office layout and ensure all equipment is functioning properly to create an optimal working environment.
Handle clerical duties including filing, data entry, and maintaining office supplies.
Organising deliveries through our partnered delivery companies
Organise internal shipments through shipping agent.
Experience
Proven experience in an office management or administrative role is essential.
Strong supervisory skills with the ability to lead a team effectively.
Proficiency in clerical tasks and familiarity with SAGE is highly desirable but not essential.
Excellent organisational skills with a focus on detail-oriented work.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary for this position.
Experience in human resources functions would be advantageous but not mandatory.
