We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our office. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills, exceptional phone etiquette, great flexibility and great customer service skills. This role is crucial in ensuring that our office runs smoothly and efficiently while providing support to the owners of the business.
Please note that this role is available on a self-employed basis.
Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day office operations, taking calls, answering emails across various Outlook accounts, opening of post.
Maintain accurate records and files, ensuring all clerical duties are performed efficiently.
Handle basic financial tasks using Xero and Dext, to include uploading of invoices, credit notes, and expenses plus basic reconciliations of the bank and credit card expenditure. Liaise with accountants as required.
Assist with management of residential rental portfolio to include liaising with lettings agent, tenants and contractors, maintain records accurately.
Assist with the running of the companies luxury holiday rental property, to include marketing activity, liaising with suppliers and contractors, communicating with guests and letting platforms. Helping to arrange ad hoc PR events and meetings as required.
Ad hoc PA duties such as booking car servicing and MOT's, general admin, one off projects, dealing with issues as they arise.
Experience
Proven experience in an office management or key administrative role is essential.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively.
Knowledge of Xero accounting software would be advantageous but training will be given.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are required.
