Job Role:
The Support Services Manager will oversee the efficient and effective management of the administrative support functions within McGoff Construction Services. This includes leading and managing a team of document controllers, commercial administrators, and our receptionist. The role also involves coordinating company training activities, managing CITB submissions, collaborating with the Fleet Manager on fleet management, and overseeing the company insurance renewal process.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership and Management:
+ Lead, manage, and provide guidance to the administrative team, including document controllers, commercial administrators, and the receptionist.
+ Conduct regular team meetings, performance appraisals, and identify training and development needs.
+ Ensure all administrative tasks are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
Training Coordination:
+ Coordinate and book the company's training programs, including identifying training needs, booking courses, and maintaining training records.
+ Liaise with training providers to ensure the delivery of quality training.
+ Ensure timely and accurate submissions to CITB and compliance with training-related requirements.
Fleet Management:
+ Collaborate with the Fleet Manager to oversee the company's vehicle fleet, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry standards.
+ Monitor fleet performance, maintenance schedules, and ensure vehicles are returned clean and tidy.
Insurance Renewal Process:
+ Manage the company's insurance renewal process, ensuring policies are reviewed, updated, and renewed on time.
+ Liaise with insurance providers to address any queries or issues.
