We are seeking an experienced

Registered Manager

or a motivated

Deputy Manager

ready to take the next step into their first RM role. This is a rewarding leadership opportunity: you will lead the setup and ongoing development of a brand?new 5?bed children's home, supporting young people with Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties (EBD).

This well-established provider has grown steadily into a trusted partner across London, working closely with over 40 local authorities and the Home Office They are Living Wage accredited and rated "Outcome?1: Consistently Strong Service" by Ofsted. Their teams are fully trained in trauma?informed, therapeutic care models tailored to young people's emotional needs

Role Overview

Lead the home from pre?registration through full operation--responsible for care standards, safeguarding, and regulatory compliance. Guide the Ofsted registration and inspections in collaboration with the Responsible Individual and Director. Recruit, inspire and manage a team committed to trauma?informed, emotionally intelligent care. Oversee daily operations, staff development, supervision, and build strong partnerships with families, local authorities, and external agencies. Participate in an on?call rota, providing visible, dependable leadership for your team and residents.

Candidate Profile

Level?5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent). Level?3 qualification in Residential Childcare. At least 2 years' supervisory experience in an Ofsted?registered children's home. Deputies should be ready and confident to step into the Registered Manager role and understand registration expectations. A genuine passion for making a meaningful difference to young people with complex emotional needs. Strong leadership, communication, emotional resilience, and excellent organisational skills. Full UK driving licence preferred.

Working Pattern & Benefits

Monday-Friday, 9?am-5?pm with on?call responsibilities. Permanent, full?time role with long?term leadership potential. Competitive salary 55,000-60,000 (depending on qualifications and experience).
