Role Overview
Lead the home from pre?registration through full operation--responsible for care standards, safeguarding, and regulatory compliance.
Guide the Ofsted registration and inspections in collaboration with the Responsible Individual and Director.
Recruit, inspire and manage a team committed to trauma?informed, emotionally intelligent care.
Oversee daily operations, staff development, supervision, and build strong partnerships with families, local authorities, and external agencies.
Participate in an on?call rota, providing visible, dependable leadership for your team and residents.
Candidate Profile
Level?5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
Level?3 qualification in Residential Childcare.
At least 2 years' supervisory experience in an Ofsted?registered children's home.
Deputies should be ready and confident to step into the Registered Manager role and understand registration expectations.
A genuine passion for making a meaningful difference to young people with complex emotional needs.
Strong leadership, communication, emotional resilience, and excellent organisational skills.
Full UK driving licence preferred.
Working Pattern & Benefits
Monday-Friday, 9?am-5?pm with on?call responsibilities.
