We are seeking applications from Maths specialists to support our Key Stage 4 students on a one-to-one or small-group basis at our Kenton site. The Northern Leaders Trust has high aspirations for the qualifications our students will achieve at the end of Year 11. You will share those high aspirations, build excellent relationships and work with colleagues to provide stepping stones to success.
If you are the person we are looking for, you will have a proven track record of effective teaching or tutoring in Maths, excellent behaviour management skills, an awareness of policies and other guidance on safeguarding and wellbeing, and the interpersonal skills to challenge, inspire and motivate students to enable them to achieve their potential regardless of the barriers they face.
This is a casual, part-time position.

Kenton School is a mixed, mainstream, non-denominational secondary school in Newcastle upon Tyne. It caters to students aged 11-18 and has 2,010 pupils at full capacity, including 300 in the sixth form.
Kenton School was opened to pupils and staff on 17th March 1961 as a maintained comprehensive school. After 47 years in the original buildings, the school moved into new state-of-the-art premises in 2008.
Kenton School converted to academy status in 2012. In 2014, it formed Kenton Schools Academy Trust. This multi-academy trust opened Studio West, a new studio school, in West Denton in 2014.
