Operational Lead
to drive our commercial growth and operational excellence.
This is a pivotal, non-clinical leadership role responsible for the charity's operational success, funding development and external profile. You will play a vital role in ensuring our services are financially sustainable, well-managed and aligned with our mission to provide safe, inclusive, and forward-thinking mental health support to children, young people, and adults across the Midlands.

Key Responsibilities
Operational & Financial Leadership
Lead on non-clinical operations, including office management and policy development.
Write and manage funding bids and grant applications to secure long-term sustainability.
Collaborate with the Clinical Lead to ensure bid proposals are feasible and aligned.
Provide day-to-day oversight of the finance function, ensuring effective reporting to the Board of Trustees.
Develop and oversee project plans and delivery frameworks that measure impact and learning.
Strategic Promotion & Partnerships
Promote YESS in local schools, businesses, and community networks.
Represent the charity at events and partner meetings.
Oversee the YESS website, social media, and marketing activities.
Work with our Ambassador (currently Olympic gold medallist Adam Peaty) to raise awareness and engagement.
What We're Looking For
A proven track record in operational leadership, business development or charity management.
Strong experience in writing successful funding bids and/or grant applications.
Financial acumen, with the ability to manage budgets and reporting.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
A creative, proactive mindset with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Experience in the mental health or charitable sector is highly desirable but not essential.

Please note actual salary is based on experience and pro-rata'd to 22.5 hours
