Job Overview
The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient day-to-day operations while driving strategic initiatives that align with our organisational goals. This role requires strong leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to foster a collaborative work environment.
Duties
Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency and productivity.
Coordinate daily Front of the House and Back of the House restaurant operations
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team to achieve operational excellence.
Respond efficiently and accurately to customer complaints, review product quality and research new vendors.
Deliver superior service and maximize customer satisfaction
Manage budgets, forecasts, and resource allocation effectively.
Estimate future needs for goods, kitchen utensils and cleaning products, and ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations.
Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations within the workplace.
Recommend ways to reach a broader audience (e.g. discounts and social media ads)
Requirements
Preferably experience as an Operations Manager or in a similar managerial role within a relevant industry.
Strong understanding of operational procedures and performance management principles.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams towards achieving common goals.
Exceptional problem-solving abilities and analytical skills.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
