About the Role



We are seeking a capable and organised

Operations Executive

to support the planning and delivery of international

exhibitions and trade shows

. This role plays a key part in the operational delivery of live events, working closely with internal teams, venues, contractors, and exhibitors to ensure events are delivered efficiently and to a high standard.

The successful candidate will take increasing ownership of operational tasks and act as a key point of contact across multiple areas of exhibition delivery.

Key Responsibilities



Support and coordinate the operational planning and delivery of exhibitions and trade shows Act as a point of contact for exhibitors and sponsors regarding operational requirements and queries Coordinate with venues, contractors, and suppliers to support logistics, build-up, live days, and breakdown Assist with exhibition floor plans, schedules, and operational documentation, including exhibitor manuals and service information Support registration and visitor services operations Provide on-site operational support and assist with issue resolution Support health and safety processes, including assisting with risk assessments and compliance documentation Assist with managing operational budgets and tracking costs Support the use of digital tools and platforms used for exhibitor and visitor engagement

Skills & Experience



1-3 years' experience in exhibition, trade show, event operations, or a related live events role A strong understanding of exhibition and trade show operations and logistics Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment Strong written and verbal communication skills, with confidence liaising with internal and external stakeholders A proactive, solutions-focused approach to work Ability to work independently and as part of a team Willingness to travel as required for exhibitions

Desirable (but not essential)



Experience working with venues and external suppliers Familiarity with exhibitor platforms, registration systems, or operational software Basic knowledge of health and safety procedures and risk assessments IOSH qualification or willingness to work towards one International experience or foreign language skills
