About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Operations Executive to support the planning and delivery of international exhibitions and trade shows. This role offers hands-on experience across all operational aspects of exhibition delivery, working closely with internal teams, venues, contractors, exhibitors, and service providers to ensure successful and well-executed live events.
Key Responsibilities
Support the operational planning and delivery of exhibitions and trade shows of varying sizes
Assist with contractor and sponsor liaison, including logistical and operational queries
Support client services operations
Liaise with venues, contractors, and suppliers to coordinate logistics, build-up, and breakdown
Assist with floor plans, schedules, and operational documentation, including exhibitor manuals
Provide on-site operational support as required
Support health and safety procedures, including assisting with risk assessments and compliance documentation
Assist with monitoring operational budgets and cost control
Support the use of digital tools and platforms for exhibitor and visitor engagement, where applicable
Skills & Experience
A basic understanding of exhibition and trade show operations, with a strong willingness to learn
Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with confidence liaising with exhibitors, suppliers, and internal teams
A flexible and proactive approach to work
A positive, hands-on attitude and strong work ethic
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Willingness to travel as required for exhibitions
Desirable (but Not Essential)
Experience supporting exhibitions or trade shows
Familiarity with exhibitor platforms or event management systems
International exposure or foreign language skills
