Shift:

4 Nights per week - 6pm - 6.00pm



Our Fletchers bakery has over 125 years of baking tradition, with our Kara bakery supplying delicious wholesale bakery products for over 35 years starting with the first floured bap. Both have been part of the Finsbury Food Group since 2014. Fletchers Bakery can trace its roots back to 1895 and both bakeries portfolio of products have risen (get it?) to include gourmet brioche, traditional sliced bread, bloomer breads and vegan and gluten free options, to name a but a few.



To work productively as part of a team to reach the plant production targets on a daily basis, whilst being vigilant and been proactive with quality checks. Throughout the shifts; strict health, safety and hygiene standards must be adhered to, ensuring products are made to the highest quality.



To provide support to the team via experience and knowledge to ensure effective and efficient running of the line To monitor the quality at each key stage making adjustments where necessary so that we have zero customer complaints and meet both our continuous improvement and waste targets Ensure product quality is maintained throughout your area by adherence to plant set up, technical specifications and quality assurance processes to accurate performance data Lead the efficient set up of plant at the start of the production and at product changeovers to improve the changeover efficiencies to meeting the quality to specification targets

Ensure hygiene and housekeeping practices are carried out to maintain a clean and safe working environment

Ensure that good Health and Safety practices and behaviours are adopted at all times to have a safe working environment with zero accidents

Participate in company initiatives on training and development of yourself

Ensure performance and product quality is maintained in your area by adherence to plant set up, technical specifications and quality assurance processes. Experience within a similar working environment, preferably in manufacturing Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective working relationships and to influence at all levels Confidence to communicate effectively with individuals at all levels A positive and proactive approach with the drive to deliver results in a fast-paced environment Must have basic Reading, Writing and Numeracy and Computer skills
