We are seeking a skilled Operations Manager to oversee engineering and logistics operations, ensuring seamless coordination of equipment delivery, maintenance, and customer support. The ideal candidate will excel in managing renewals, supplier relationships, and internal processes while maintaining accurate records and fostering strong customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide ongoing support and arrange support visits for engineering teams.
Approve engineering overtime and expenses.
Coordinate logistics for engineering staff, including travel arrangements.
Maintenance & Renewals
Engineering Management
Manage the renewal process for monthly maintenance, including raising purchase orders (POs) upon payment.
Oversee preventive maintenance visits (PMVs) and manage return merchandise authorizations (RMAs).
Maintain internal stock sheets and equipment management systems.
Handle maintenance database updates and renewal processes.
Logistics & Equipment
Manage equipment delivery, tracking, and sourcing.
Chase suppliers for timely equipment delivery.
Arrange equipment installations with customers and ensure on-site readiness.
Supplier & Customer Relations
Handle new supplier paperwork and company accreditations.
Manage customer contracts, special pricing applications, and serve as the customer liaison.
Process RAMs (Risk Assessments and Method Statements) and other customer paperwork.
Administrative Duties
Maintain accurate records for company accreditations and renewals.
Handle delivery notes and ensure timely documentation.
Perform daily management tasks to support AV (audio-visual) operations.
Qualifications & Skills
Proven experience in operations management, preferably in engineering or logistics.
Audiovisual industry experience
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for customer and supplier interactions.
Proficiency in managing contracts, renewals, and maintenance schedules.
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with logistics, equipment tracking, and inventory management.
Proficient in documentation and database management.
Preferred Qualifications
Background in managing supplier relationships and customer contracts.
