Job Brief:

As our Operations Manager, you'll be responsible for overseeing every aspect of our production and fulfilment chain--starting from the moment an order is printed, all the way to its final dispatch from our in-house Lab at Bury, Manchester. You will directly manage our lab, stockroom, and dispatch teams, and be the critical bridge between the backend operations and customer-facing teams.

Key Responsibilities:

? Manage daily operations of the Lab, Stock Room, and Dispatch departments.

? Supervise order flow from printing, lens preparation, and assembly to final packaging.

? Lead and manage lab and dispatch teams, ensuring seamless physical movement of goods.

? Be the point of contact for Stores and Customer Support team.

? Implement systems to streamline operations and increase output.

? Ensure production and dispatch are optimised to meet our 24-hour delivery goal

? Lead recruitment efforts to scale the team based on operational demand

? Take charge of implementing night-time production as we extend working hours

What We're Looking For:

? Proven experience in operations or logistics in a fast-paced setting.

? A natural leader with a strict but fair approach to team management.

? Strong organisational skills and an eye for operational improvements.

? Ability to own and manage multiple teams and timelines simultaneously.

? Previous experience in warehouse or lab environments is a bonus.
