Position Summary

ITW Construction Products UK is seeking a dynamic leader to join their fast-paced manufacturing team. The successful candidate will possess strong leadership and team building skills. Manage employees performing activities in multiple manufacturing disciplines. Develop and execute business plans, policies and procedures and develop organisational and technical strategies. Acquire resources; provide management of suppliers and lead process improvements. Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers and direct reports. Provide oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.

Primary responsibilities:

Safety to be the #1 concern - ensuring a safe working environment for all employees and a culture of continuous improvement for health & safety Ownership for production, warehouse, toolroom and maintenance agenda for the Business Unit ensuring the accountability and deliverables for direct teams are met Delivery of differentiated service offering for customers with a clear focus on service excellence, product reliability and product availability Implement, monitor and modify metrics which track achievement of the facility's goals for safety, quality, cost, delivery, manufacturing efficiency, inventory management and direct activities which achieve ITW calibre customer facing metrics Continued focus on site performance optimisation with differentiated focus on 80/20 offerings Utilise systems and resources to proactively maintain and conserve capital equipment. Prioritise issues and activities to develop sustainable improvement in equipment performance Identify, lead and develop talent to maximise organisational effectiveness in meeting company goals and enterprise initiatives. Support ITW Leadership Development framework, developing talent within the business. Implement strategic initiatives aligning team-based processes to drive operational strategies and continuous improvement Own the business unit S&OP process, with a close partnership to the commercial and supply chain teams. Proactively direct the resolution of operational, quality, and maintenance issues to ensure effective management of cost and prevention of operational delays Collaborate with functional teams on implementation of digital site solutions Align operational goals in line with commercial growth plans Provide strong leadership and role model ITW Values and Culture

Experience and skills:

To have held a senior production management role in a manufacturing environment Demonstrated experience in continuous improvement Proven people leadership abilities and experience managing large teams of direct/indirect reports Demonstrable business acumen, with the ability to interpret financial data and apply commercial insight into an operational environment Strong communications, negotiation and interpersonal skills High degree of tenacity, determination and persistence to ensure goals are achieved Creative approach to problem solving and solutions * Adept at making sound decisions quickly
