Manufacturer of plasterers metalwork is looking for an Operations Manager to join our team.

We are seeking an individual either as an existing Operations Manager or someone looking for the next step in their career to oversee and enhance our operational processes. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a proven track record in supervising teams to achieve organisational goals. This role requires a self motivated, strategic thinker who can manage daily operations efficiently while fostering a positive work environment.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise the operations team to ensure smooth daily functioning of the organisation. Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Monitor performance metrics and prepare regular reports for senior management. Collaborate with various departments to align operational strategies with overall business objectives. Manage resource allocation, including staff, equipment, and materials, to optimise productivity. Identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to enhance operational performance. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards across all operations. Foster a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging team development and training initiatives.

Experience

Proven experience in an operations management role or similar supervisory position. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively. Excellent organisational skills with a keen attention to detail. Demonstrated ability to analyse data and make informed decisions based on findings. Experience in developing operational strategies that drive business success is highly desirable. Proficiency in using relevant software tools for reporting and analysis will be advantageous.
