The Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated
Operations Manager
to lead the strategic and day-to-day management of our children's home partners. You will ensure each home delivers the highest standards of care, meets all regulatory requirements, and fosters a positive environment for both staff and young people.
Key Responsibilities
Provide strong leadership, support, and guidance to Registered Managers across multiple homes.
Ensure full compliance with Ofsted regulations and other statutory requirements.
Oversee operational performance, budget management, and quality assurance processes.
Develop and implement policies and procedures that promote best practices.
Lead recruitment, training, and development initiatives to maintain high service standards.
Work collaboratively with external stakeholders, including local authorities and safeguarding boards.
Monitor and evaluate service delivery to drive continuous improvement.
Promote a culture of safeguarding and wellbeing for children and staff alike.
About You
Minimum 3 years' senior leadership experience in children's residential services (required).
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (Children and Young People) or equivalent (required).
Proven success managing Ofsted inspections and maintaining compliance.
Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations, safeguarding protocols, and residential care best practices.
Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
Ability to build effective partnerships with stakeholders.
Experience managing multiple residential services.
