We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Operations Manager to oversee our daily operations and ensure the efficiency of our business processes. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, exceptional organisational skills, and a comprehensive understanding of logistics and supply chain management. This role is pivotal in driving operational excellence and enhancing customer satisfaction. You will oversee the end-to-end logistics of our delivery and collection processes, ensuring smooth coordination between warehouse, drivers, and customers.
Duties
Lead day-to-day operations across transport, logistics, and stock management.
Plan, schedule, and monitor deliveries and collections for timely service.
Supervise and support drivers and logistics staff.
Oversee vehicle utilisation, routing efficiency, and transport compliance.
Manage inventory levels in collaboration with the Stock Controller.
Ensure adherence to health & safety, transport, and regulatory standards.
Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
Prepare regular operational and performance reports for senior management.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring any operational issues are swiftly resolved.
Experience
Experience in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
Minimum 1 years' experience in an operations, logistics, or transport management role.
Strong leadership and staff management skills.
Excellent problem-solving and organisational abilities.
Knowledge of transport legislation, health & safety, and logistics systems.
Confident communicator with a customer-focused mindset.
