Role Overview
We are seeking a reliable, hands-on
Operations & Office Coordinator
to support the day-to-day running of our hospitality and catering operations. This is a varied and practical role combining depot/warehouse duties, driving, scheduling, and office coordination.
The role is operational in nature and will suit someone who enjoys physical work alongside administrative and organisational responsibilities. You will work closely with managers, often independently, helping ensure stock, vehicles, schedules, and daily tasks are managed efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Operations, Stock & Depot Duties
Receive, check, and accurately record deliveries
Pick, pack, and prepare stock for daily operations and events
Organise and maintain clean, safe, and efficient storage areas
Carry out general depot duties including cleaning and housekeeping
Support ad hoc operational tasks as required
Driving & Logistics
Drive company vehicles up to and including 3.5 tonne vans
Load, unload, and secure goods safely using correct manual handling techniques
Carry out basic vehicle checks and report defects
Support collections and deliveries across operational sites
Office & Administrative Coordination
Support managers with general office and administrative tasks
Manage calendars, meetings, and scheduling requirements
Coordinate vehicle servicing, maintenance, MOTs, and compliance checks
Maintain basic records, documentation, and operational logs
Technology & Systems
Confident use of email, calendars, spreadsheets, and company systems
Support basic IT and systems administration where required
Assist with process improvements and organisation
We're looking for a self-motivated and reliable individual with excellent timekeeping skills, able to work efficiently and meet deadlines consistently. This is a practical, hands-on role that involves lifting and moving stock, furniture, and equipment, so a good level of physical fitness and confidence with manual handling are essential.
A positive, can-do attitude and a proactive approach to work are key to succeeding in this role. You'll need to be organised and methodical, able to follow procedures and work safely while contributing to the smooth day-to-day running of operations.
Professionalism is important to us, so you'll be expected to present yourself in a smart, well-groomed manner at all times. Flexibility and a willingness to support the team wherever needed are essential, as no two days are the same.
Personal requirements:
Previous experience in operations, warehouse, catering, or logistics roles (essential)
Full, valid UK driving licence (essential)
Confident driving 3.5 tonne or long wheelbase vans (essential)
Physically fit and comfortable with regular manual handling (essential)
Strong organisational skills and ability to multitask (essential)
Basic IT and administrative skills (email, spreadsheets, scheduling)
Ability to work independently and respond to changing priorities (essential)
Weekend availability (as part of a rolling rota shared shift pattern - essential)
Forklift licence (desirable but not essential)
