Operations Support Assistant

Leat House, Washington

Permanent - 37 hours per week (flexible working arrangements will be considered)

Salary 25,680 up to 32,100 (depending on experience)

About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for an Operations Support Assistant to join our team and play a key role in supporting Wastewater Networks. In this role, you'll be an essential part of a dynamic team, working closely with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure the smooth flow of data and information across various processes. Your contributions will be vital in supporting technical support advisors, analysts, project managers, operations controllers, and managers, while also stepping in to provide cover for other operations support assistants when needed.

This role is all about coordination, accuracy, and efficiency. You'll be responsible for gathering and distributing critical information, validating data and processes, and helping to drive our department and business objectives forward. Your work will directly contribute to enhancing our ability to be an industry leader, making a real impact on the way we operate. If you're someone who thrives in a fast paced environment and enjoys being at the heart of a collaborative team, this is a fantastic opportunity to grow and make a difference.

About you

We're looking for someone with a strong background in administrative work, particularly in producing reports, handling data, and engaging with customers. You will also be required to work towards tight deadlines with efficiency and accuracy. Proven experience in these areas will be key to succeeding in this role.

Excellent interpersonal skills are essential, as you'll be communicating confidently both over the phone and in person. The ability to discuss issues clearly and professionally, while building strong, positive relationships with stakeholders, will be a crucial part of your day to day responsibilities.

You'll have excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook. You should be comfortable maintaining Excel spreadsheets, compiling reports in Word, and drafting clear and professional business letters. If you have experience with systems such as CC&B and Maximo, as well as a basic understanding of CMeX, that would be a great advantage.

As travel between sites may be required, having a full and valid driving licence would be ideal. However, the ability to travel via other means will also be considered. If you're an organised, detail oriented professional looking for a dynamic role where your skills will make a real impact, we'd love to hear from you.
