The role we're hiring for is an operations support to join our team based in Bradford. This role involves managing engineers' schedules, ensuring confirmed appointments, and providing necessary job details for first-time completion. The ideal candidate will have strong organisational and communication skills, efficiently coordinating engineers, customers, and administrative tasks. Key responsibilities include scheduling maintenance, assigning jobs, maintaining customer relationships, and overseeing documentation and invoicing. Attention to detail and multitasking ability are essential for success.
Duties
Scheduling and managing engineers' diaries, ensuring all jobs are confirmed with customers and have the required information for first time completion
Assigning jobs based on engineer competencies, making sure the right engineer is matched to each task for the best results
Handling documentation, invoicing, and customer support, ensuring all records are accurate and queries are resolved efficiently
Managing any issues that arise, whether customer or engineer-related, with a calm and proactive approach, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and minimal disruptions
Qualifications
Candidates with a scheduling background are preferred, however we will speak to candidates with any administration experience
Able to handle inbound calls as well as make outbound calls to schedule in appointments
Ability to prioritise tasks effectively, managing a high-volume workload while staying organised, meeting deadlines, and ensuring accuracy in all aspects of work
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on phone etiquette.
Excellent analysis skills to assess operational performance and suggest improvements.
Previous experience in a customer service or operations role is advantageous but not essential.
