Ages 18-20: Starting salary 21,000
Ages 21+: Starting salary 25,500

About the Company
We operate in a mixed office/warehouse environment, supplying medical equipment and providing maintenance services to ambulance services across the UK. The workplace includes large but friendly dogs on-site, so the successful candidate must be comfortable working around them.OverviewWe are recruiting an Operative / Admin Assistant to support both administrative and practical day-to-day operations. The role requires someone dependable, organised, and hands-on, with the ability to work independently and maintain consistent standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out general operational duties, including stock handling, basic equipment use, and workplace organisation.
- Provide administrative support such as data entry, document preparation, filing, and maintaining accurate records.
- Manage incoming calls, emails, and enquiries professionally and promptly.
- Support scheduling, logistics, and coordination of daily activities.- Ensure all work complies with company procedures and health and safety requirements.
- Assist colleagues and management with ad-hoc tasks to keep operations running efficiently.
Requirements
- Comfortable working in an environment with large but friendly dogs on-site.
- Proven reliability and strong work ethic.
- Good organisational and time-management skills.
- Confident using basic IT systems (Email, MS Office, data entry tools).
- Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities.
- Clear communication skills and a professional approach.
- Willingness to handle both administrative and manual tasks.
- Previous experience in a similar role is beneficial but not essential.
