We are seeking a professional and personable Receptionist/Optical Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our clients and visitors, providing exceptional service while managing a variety of administrative tasks. This role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a busy office environment.
Responsibilities
Greet and welcome visitors in a friendly and professional manner
Answer and direct phone calls with excellent phone etiquette
Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails and post.
Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently
Maintain an organised filing system for documents and records.
Social media posts and website interaction.
Scheduling appointments.
Assist in stock control.
Assist with ordering lenses, contact lenses, frames and solutions.
Helping clients choose suitable and stylish eyewear.
Repairs and adjustments of frames.
Qualifications
Previous office or administrative experience is preferred
Proficient computer skills
Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace applications
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Experience in data entry and maintaining accurate records
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
