ROLE PURPOSE
This is a practical, hands-on role that involves preparing, packing and dispatching customer orders with care and precision. It also includes food handling and cleaning tasks so high hygiene standards and attention to detail are key.
We'll give you full training, you don't need experience in food production or logistics. What matters is your reliability, your care, and your ability to follow processes.
WHAT YOU'LL DO EACH DAY
Cleaning ~1 hour/day:
Daily cleaning tasks of the food prep and packing areas to meet hygiene standards.
Caviar Repacking ~2 hours/day:
Decanting caviar into smaller vacuum-sealed tins. This is done in a walk-in chiller to keep the product fresh. You'll be in and out (not all day), and warm clothing is provided.
Order Fulfilment ~2 hours/day
Creating shipping labels, updating use-by information, checking addresses, attaching the correct tin labels and packing orders securely and neatly.
Stock Management & Prep ~1 hour/day
Making up boxes, restocking labels, checking inventory and prepping for the next day's work.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Follow clear, step-by-step procedures to ensure consistency and accuracy
Handle food safely and hygienically (we'll train you and provide a Food Hygiene Level 2 course)
Keep accurate records of production, labelling and dispatch
Create and apply labels with correct use-by dates, batch codes and weights
Use online systems to create courier bookings and print address labels
Ensure all orders go out correctly packed, neatly labelled, and on time
Maintain a clean and tidy working area, including daily cleaning duties
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
This role would suit someone who:
Enjoys structured, process-led work
Has a strong eye for detail
Is reliable, organised and efficient
Can work independently once trained
Is confident using a computer for simple tasks (e.g. typing addresses, printing labels)
Has English and Maths GCSE (or equivalent)
You do not need experience in food production or fulfilment -- if you're willing to learn, we'll teach you everything you need to know.
