Honeyrose Bakery is an exclusive craft bakery specialising in delicious cookies, toasts, and bars made to traditional recipes. We proudly supply food service providers, major retailers, and independents.

We are currently looking for a Packing Supervisor to join our small, friendly team. This is a great opportunity for someone who is eager to learn, take on responsibility, and contribute to the smooth running of our business operations.

Main duties:

Deliver production plan and make sure appropriate allocation within the factory to each department, communicate target finish times and hours limit to each area. Complete daily in shift and out shift checks ( metal detector, safety checks, tool box etc..) Set up packing and depositing machines and troubleshoot them when needed to prevent downtime and maintain smooth production. Inspect baked goods to make sure they meet quality standard. Ensure all the required documentation is completed accurately and on time. Ensure the safety, legality and quality of our products at all times, and make sure that CCP's and Food Safety standards are valid to across all areas of the shift. Implementation of daily operational plans to ensure production targets are met. Mentoring, coaching and supporting of staff, ensuring all training requirements are met and that all staff have the required skill level. Take responsibility for effective performance management of staff under your management. Ensure staff hours are utilised in the most efficient way possible on shift, moving people around between roles as appropriate to maximise output of finished product. Attend daily meetings with Production Management & Planning team to deliver profitable plan for the next day. Work closely with other departments to achieve the best possible outcomes for the business.

Who we are looking for:

Proven and demonstrable experience in a Supervisor role within Food Manufacturing (Desirable) Experience working on Food Manufacturing Good standard of written and spoken English ( Mandatory) Experience on flow wrapping machines ( Desirable)

Days & Hours of work:

Mon -Fri 6.00am to 14.30pm. Varied and/or additional hours may be required according to the demand of the business.

Premier House, Disraeli road NW10 7BT (please check your commute and route before applying)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 13.01-14.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 48 per week
