About the role -
We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated
Band 5/6 Occupational Therapist
to join our friendly, specialist therapy team. In this role, you will work across two fantastic specialist schools in Aylesbury --
Booker Park
and
Stocklake Park
-- supporting children and young people aged 5-16 with a wide range of complex needs.
You will:
Deliver high?quality assessment and intervention for children with neurodevelopmental and physical needs
Support children with sensory processing, emotional regulation, motor skills, and functional independence
Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, families, and school teams
Contribute to therapy plans, EHCP advice, and child?centred goal setting
Be supported in your development through supervision, CPD, and a nurturing clinical environment
This role offers an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified therapist looking to develop in paediatrics, or for an early?career OT ready to take the next step.
About you -
You will be a caring, proactive clinician with a genuine interest in working with children and young people with SEND. You may be newly qualified or already developing your Band 6 skills -- what matters most is your enthusiasm, reflective mindset, and commitment to child?centred practice.

Sensory Integration
Hand skills and fine?motor development
Assistive technology and equipment
Experience working in a school setting or as part of a multidisciplinary team is highly desirable, but not essential -- we value potential, passion, and a willingness to learn.
