Due to the investment in a new facility we're looking for professional and experienced Prep Painters to work as part of our Bodyshop Team in our fabrication workshop and paint shop facilities at Carlisle Airport.

Duties of the role will include, assisting the Bodyshop in the car transporter refurbishment programme, prepping the vehicles for paint and shotblasting wheels ready for paint. Maintaining our current fleet of car transporters.

Hours: of work are on a rotational shift pattern of 06:00am - 14:30pm and 13.00pm - 21.00pm includes some Saturdays.

Key Responsibilities:

Carrying out preparation work including sanding, masking, priming and filler work Prepping vehicles for paint in line with high-quality standards Ensuring correct use of materials and tools Maintaining a clean and safe working environment Supporting the paint process to deliver vehicles on time and to standard

The successful candidate will have:

Previous experience in vehicle preparation/paintwork Strong attention to detail and pride in your work Ability to work efficiently and as part of a team Experience in a bodyshop environment Full UK Driving Licence
