Role Profile:

To support our continued growth, we are looking for 2 Paint Preppers to join our team. Ideally, you will have knowledge and experience in various methods of paint preparation such as:

Sanding,

Scraping,

General washing down/degreasing

Fettling,

Masking,

General manual handling.

We are looking for someone who is conscientious in their way of working, self-motivated and able to work on own initiative, and who can cope with the pace of production whether working as part of a team or on their own.

Candidates should be able to work at heights and/or in confined spaces. Experience within the UK's manufacturing or engineering sectors will be beneficial, particularly within a steel environment.

The working hours are 8am-4:30pm Monday to Thursday and 8am-3:30pm on Fridays with opportunities for overtime.

Responsibilities:

1. To prepare large steel structures according to customer requirements and specifications.

2. To accurately prepare paints prior to use when required.

3. To maintain good health and safety practices.

4. To work efficiently and in a timely manner.

5. Be able to follow instructions correctly and in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

1. Relevant experience will be advantageous.

2. Forklift truck driving license will be advantageous.

3. Health & Safety awareness is essential.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 12.35-14.50 per hour
