Paint Sprayer

Storth Ltd are a long established and expanding manufacturing company based near Carnforth in Lancashire. We design and make agricultural machinery for the management of slurry systems.

We have an exciting opportunity for a well organised, self-motivated individual to join our team as a Paint Sprayer using single-pack paint. You will be responsible for applying high-quality finishes to metal components for agricultural machinery with duties varying on a daily basis. Previous experience is preferred but not essential as full training will be given.

Key responsibilities and skills:

Prepare surfaces for painting to ensure all surfaces are smooth and free of debris. Operate and maintain spray painting equipment, including spray guns and air compressors. Mix paint to ensure the correct consistency and colour. Apply coatings evenly and consistently to small parts, following company specifications and industry standards. Inspect finished parts for quality, remedying defects where required. Demonstrate attention to detail and ability to achieve a smooth and even paint application. Liaise with other departments to ensure paint stock is ordered and maintained. Work independently demonstrating initiative and good time management skills. Communicate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and timelines. Maintain a clean and tidy work environment.
Adhere to all Health and Safety regulations, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

Be flexible in work duties as cover may be required in other departments from time to time. This role requires manual handling and lifting of heavy items.

Salary dependant on experience 20 days holidays plus Bank Holidays. Long service holiday scheme. On-site parking. Full-time
Schedule:

Monday - Thursday 8am - 5.30pm Friday 8am - 3pm. 42.5 hours per week.
