Job Summary


We are seeking a skilled Scaffold Builder to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for constructing and dismantling scaffolding systems to support various construction projects. This role requires a strong understanding of safety protocols and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Candidates should possess a range of skills including masonry, carpentry, and the use of both hand and power tools.

Duties



Construct and assemble scaffolding structures according to project specifications and safety regulations. Dismantle scaffolding upon project completion, ensuring all materials are safely stored or disposed of. Collaborate with other tradespeople, including carpenters and electricians, to ensure seamless project execution. Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively for fabrication tasks. Conduct regular inspections of scaffolding to ensure structural integrity and compliance with safety standards. Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety guidelines at all times. Ability to study and interpret drawings and specifications. Ability to select appropriate scaffold type for a specific project.

Requirements



Part 1 scaffolder certificate Proven experience in scaffold building or related construction roles is preferred. Strong knowledge of safety practices in construction environments. Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment proficiently. Familiarity with electrical systems is an advantage. Capability to plumb structures accurately to ensure stability. Previous experience in roofing projects is beneficial but not essential. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively on-site. Physical fitness and stamina to perform manual labour for extended periods. Clean driving licence
