We are a small, successful and well-established business specialising in East Asian inspired ice cream, serving the hospitality and retail sectors. We are currently looking for a part-time accounts administrator to join our friendly team.
About you
This role would suit a person with previous accounts experience who has excellent communication skills, good attention to detail and thrives working in fast paced office environment.
A good communicator, comfortable liaising with colleagues and third parties, in person, by telephone or in writing
Competent to use Microsoft software packages, particularly Excel.
Energetic and able to use your own initiative, a real motivated self starter
Proactive team player
You will be organised, disciplined and be able to prioritise workload to ensure deadlines are met.
Experience of using accounting software package Xero would be advantageous.
You Duties will include:
Procurement - negotiating pricing with suppliers, raising purchase orders
Processing purchase ledger invoices / credit notes - dealing with supplier queries
Processing sales ledger invoices / credit notes
Credit control - both incoming and outgoing
Completing Bank reconciliations
Inter-company and Balance sheet reconciliations
General administration, answering phones and back-office support
Working Pattern
We are recruiting for 1 part time position
Working hours will be 20 hours per week
Operating hours will be Monday - Thursday, 9.30am - 2.30pm
