We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Part-Time Bookkeeping Assistant to support our day-to-day financial operations. The ideal candidate will be experienced in using modern accounting software, ideally Xero, and demonstrate exceptional accuracy, reliability, and confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers
Process accounts payable and receivable
Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
Manage invoices, billing, and expense tracking
Reconcile and maintain purchase and sales ledgers
Prepare financial reports, including profit and loss statements
Assist with VAT/tax preparation and submissions (where applicable)
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company procedures
Key Skills & Experience
Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or financial role
Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy
Strong working knowledge of Xero (preferred) and other accounting software
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general office software
Strong organisational and time management skills
Ability to work independently and manage deadlines
Working Hours
Part-time: 15 hours per week (flexible working hours available)
