We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a cook in our superfood cafe . In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of meals while ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality. Your culinary expertise will contribute to creating delightful dining experiences for our customers.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a diverse range of dishes according to established recipes and standards. Ensure all food preparation areas are clean, organised, and compliant with food safety regulations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain an efficient workflow during service hours. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages to management. Uphold high standards of hygiene and cleanliness throughout the kitchen environment. Provide support in serving meals to customers, ensuring an exceptional dining experience. Have flexibility to work mornings, weekends and evenings. Have a passion for health, wellness, and nutritious food.

Experience

Previous kitchen or restaurant experience is preferred, with a strong understanding of food preparation techniques. Culinary experience is highly desirable, showcasing your ability to create delicious meals. Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is essential to ensure compliance in the kitchen. Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with team members. A passion for cooking and a commitment to delivering high-quality dishes that exceed customer expectations.
