Weekends Saturday and Sunday - cover in the week when cook is off

General Aspects:

To ensure staff work within homes policies and guidelines. Continually monitoring, in areas of Environmental Health, Infection Control and Service User nutritional requirement. Work in partnership with head cook and Care Manager to ensure home meets CQC standards. To ensure service users receive varied, balanced and healthy meals subject to their, cultural, ethical or dietary needs. To ensure the kitchen is maintained in a hygienic condition Prepare and cook meals to a set menu. / Baking / home cooked meals. Prepare the tea trolley for morning and afternoon tea. Wash, dry and store all utensils and crockery etc used during your shift. Maintain a log of fridge temperatures. Maintain a log of cooked meat temperature Complete daily dietary intake records / service user's choices charts. Keep cleaning charts / cleaning schedules.

Summary

As a Part-Time Cook, you will be essential in preparing high-quality meals and maintaining food safety standards in our kitchen. Reporting to the Head Cook, your core skills in food preparation, cooking. are essential for the job role.

A Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate is required, along with strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with the kitchen team. adhering to all food hygiene regulations.
