Job Description

Here at Boroughbury Medical Centre, we are looking for focused, dedicated and friendly Prescription Administrators to join our Medicines Management Team. This is a key support role supporting both patients and clinicians.

Roles

We are offering two

25 hours per week

roles

Role one: 8am until 1pm - 5 days a week (Monday to Friday)

Role two: 1pm until 6pm - 5 days a week (Monday to Friday)

Where are we located?

We have surgeries based in Werrington, Paston and another at Craig Street in Peterborough's city centre.

For this role you will be required to work at our Craig Street branch.

What you will be doing?

Processing prescriptions requests

Facilitation and promotion of prescription ordering systems for patients

Resolving medication queries

Working closely with healthcare professionals following organisational policies and
protocols

Call handling inbound and outbound

Face to face patient customer service

Team working to process workflow

Other associated duties as required by the Team Leader or Manager of the department.

PLEASE NOTE THERE IS NO PARKING AVAILABLE AT THE SURGERY FOR THIS ROLE

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 12.21 per hour
