We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organised Legal Cashier to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial transactions within a legal environment, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and maintaining accurate records. This role is essential in supporting the financial operations of the firm and requires proficiency in various accounting software, including Denovo.
Responsibilities
Process and record all financial transactions accurately, including receipts, payments, and disbursements.
Maintain and reconcile client accounts, ensuring all entries are correct and up to date.
Handle accounts payable functions, including processing invoices and managing supplier payments.
Assist with the preparation of financial reports as required by management.
Ensure compliance with legal accounting standards and regulations.
Liaise with clients and internal departments regarding financial queries.
Support the finance team in various administrative tasks as needed.
Skills
Proficiency in using the Denovo Case Management System is essential.
SOLAS qualification required.
Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and procedures.
Excellent attention to detail with strong organisational skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact professionally with clients and colleagues.
Previous experience in a legal or professional services environment is advantageous but not mandatory.
SALARY NEGOTIABLE DEPENDENT ON EXPERIENCE
25 days holiday per annum
