Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Practitioner to join our team in our Newport setting. The successful candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education for children in a nursery setting. This part time position is over 2 days usual shifts are 8am-6pm (19hrs per week)
We would consider an unqualified candidate with a willingness to gain childcare qualification whilst in our employment as long you have some relevant childcare experience and a strong work ethtic.
Duties
Deliver outstanding care and education to children aged 0-5 years, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. Plan and implement engaging activities that promote children's learning and development. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues, fostering positive relationships within the nursery environment. Notice, analyse and respond to children's behaviour, play and learning Drive initiatives that enhance the quality of childcare services provided within the nursery.
Experience
A Level 3 qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent is preferred but not essential. Previous experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is required. Excellent communication skills in English, both spoken and written. A passion for early childhood education and a commitment to promoting children's development through play-based learning.
