Chandlers (Farm Equipment) Ltd has been servicing the needs of the agricultural, vehicle and groundscare industries for over 90 years and are one of the largest AGCO dealers in the UK, supplying new machines and aftersales for Massey Ferguson, Fendt & Valtra, and JCB (via Chandlers RFM). Along with a full range of complementary machinery from leading manufacturers.


As a Purchase Ledger Assistant, you will:




Process supplier invoices and payments using our bespoke software in an accurate and timely manner. Assist in the preparation of the monthly BACS Payment runs. Reconcile Supplier Statements making sure ledgers are kept up to date. Monitoring of the purchase ledger email inbox. Answer Supplier queries via phone and email. Post handling and distribution. Set up New Supplier accounts as and when requested. Liaise with relevant departments regarding invoice queries in a timely manner. Ad hoc duties as and when required. Providing support at period end with reporting requirements. Assist daily in any needs of the Company Accountant. Providing administrative support as needed to the department. Work part time Monday to Friday, 20 - 30 hours per week plus additional hours as required to meet the needs of the business.

The ideal candidate will have:




Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role. Strong communication skills. An eye for detail and accuracy with figures and data entry. Excellent time management, strong planning and diplomacy skills Experience with working to challenging deadlines. Must be computer literate
