We have a new opportunity for a Purchase Ledger Assistant to join our small friendly team who manage the accounts payable function across the Swan Mill Group.
Reporting to the Team Leader, your role as Purchase Ledger Assistant will be in a supportive capacity for all transactional processing and month end, as well as data analysis and process improvements.
Key duties will include:
Processing accounts payable invoices
Supplier statement reconciliations
Month end reconciliations and posting journals
Posting of cash books and completion of all bank reconciliations for sterling and foreign currency denominated bank accounts in line with agreed time lines.
Preparing supplier payments (BACS, cheques, transfers) ensuring that approved supplier payments are made in accordance with agreed trading terms.
Staff expenses
We are looking for a candidate who has experience of working in a high volume purchase ledger environment with strong Excel skills and able to efficiently use spreadsheets. You will have experience of working under pressure and possess strong organisational skills.
