About Us

The Collectibles Lounge is Ivybridge's go-to destination for collectors and enthusiasts! Born from a passion for nostalgia and community, we offer an exciting range of trading card games (Pokemon, Magic, Yu-Gi-Oh, Disney Lorcana, Dragon Ball), Funko Pops, LEGO, Harry Potter collectibles, Loungefly accessories, vaping products, and much more.

We're more than just a shop - we're a community space where collectors of all ages (from 4 to 90!) come to find their next treasure.

The Role

We're looking for an enthusiastic

Part-Time Retail Assistant

to join our small, passionate team. This role is perfect for someone who loves collectibles, enjoys customer interaction, and wants to be part of a growing local business.

Applicants must be 18+

Hours:

Friday: 2:30 PM onwards Saturday: Full day Sunday: Full day
Key Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service to collectors of all ages Open and close the store following proper procedures Process sales transactions and handle cash-up procedures accurately Assist customers with product knowledge on collectibles, TCG, and vaping products Manage trade-ins and store credit transactions Maintain store presentation and product displays Handle stock replenishment and basic inventory management Keep the shop floor tidy, welcoming, and secure
What We're Looking For

Essential:

Reliable, trustworthy, and able to work independently Strong customer service skills with a friendly, welcoming manner Comfortable handling cash and closing procedures Available to work Friday afternoons, all day Saturday and Sunday Honest and responsible approach to opening/closing duties

Desirable:

Knowledge of or interest in collectibles (Pokemon, TCG, Funko Pops, LEGO, etc.) Experience with or knowledge of vaping products Previous retail experience Passion for geek culture, trading cards, or nostalgia collectibles

You're comfortable being trusted with opening and closing responsibilities and understand the importance of accuracy when cashing up.
