Part Time Accountant
Job Description
Busy firm of Chartered Accountants in Halifax are looking to recruit a part -time semi-senior accountant.
Role is for approx 20-25 hours per week which is flexible as to days/hours.
Salary 30,000 to 35,000 (FTE) depending on experience.
Must have at least 2 years experience of working in an accountancy practice and be either AAT qualified or QBE.
Role includes preparation of year end accounts and corporation tax returns for a wide range of businesses including SME, solicitors and charities. Preparation of self-assessment tax returns for individuals. Able to assist book-keeping staff with queries and review VAT returns.
Knowledge of IRIS, SAGE , cloud based accounts packages (ie Quickbooks/Xero/Freeagent ) preferable.
Candidate will be well organised, able to work to deadlines, a good communicator and enjoy working as part of a team.
