About Us

Quedam Tyres and MOT, part of the Palmers Group, is a well-established independent garage specialising in tyres, fast-fit services, and MOTs. Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit a Part-Time Bookkeeper to support our busy, industry-based finance function.

This is a hands-on bookkeeping role suited to someone with experience in a fast-paced business environment. Automotive experience is not required.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare monthly payroll information for 16-20 employees for submission to our external accountant Maintain accurate bookkeeping and financial records Monitor and correct staff timesheets Process supplier invoices accurately and on time Upload and code invoices using Xero, Hubdoc, and Tyre Soft Provide general finance and bookkeeping administration support

About You

Proven experience in an industry or practice bookkeeping role AAT Level 4 qualified, or Level 3 and working towards Comfortable working independently and managing deadlines Well organised with strong attention to detail
