Job Description
Permanent, Part time working a 3 day week (24 hours) increasing to 30 hours over a 4 day week. Extra hours will also be required to cover holiday leave.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated person who is looking for a varied office role and able to perform well both as a team player and on their own. This will suit someone who has a previous experience within the same job role and would like to be a part of a small friendly team.
Key Responsibilities
Your main duties will include but not limited to:-
Recording accurate day to day financial transactions Raising and issuing invoices and credit notes to customers Bank account & business card reconcilliation Credit control Ensuring timely supplier payments Reconciling e commerce platform sales Assist with payroll processing Foreign exchange transactions Manage & maintain accurate records of accounts payable & receivable using Sage 50 Accounts & Xero. Assist with VAT returns Liaising with other Departments Carry out duties essential to the day to day running of the office, such as answering the telephone, filing, archiving and petty cash

Proficient in Microsoft Excel Previous experience of using Sage 50 Previous experience of using Xero (desirable but not compulsory) Strong organisational skills Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry & record keeping A recognised qualification in accounting is advantageous but not essential. Minimum 3 years experience in Accounting.
