We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Bookkeeper to manage our financial records and ensure the accuracy of our accounts. The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining the financial health of our organisation by handling day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, reconciling accounts, and supporting financial reporting. This role offers an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in accounting software and a keen eye for detail to contribute to our team's success.
Responsibilities
Maintain accurate financial records using accounting software Xero
Process accounts payable and receivable transactions efficiently and accurately
Reconcile bank statements and ensure all financial data is correctly recorded
Assist with payroll processing and related administrative tasks
Prepare financial reports and summaries for management review
Monitor and manage expense reports, invoices, and purchase orders
Support year-end closing processes and liaise with external auditors as required
Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and organisational policies
Skills
Proven experience using accounting software Xero
Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and practices
Excellent organisational skills with high attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently under tight deadlines
Good communication skills, both written and verbal
Experience with accounts payable processes is highly desirable
Ability to work independently whilst also being a team player
