Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cook to join our kitchen team at Breach house. The Cook is responsible for preparing and serving delicious meals to our residents. This role requires a passion for food, a strong attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook meals according to the menu
- Maintain a clean and organised kitchen, adhering to food safety standards
- Assist with food preparation, including meal planning, portioning, and presentation
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient meal service
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety standards
Requirements:
- Knowledge of kitchen safety and food safety regulations
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
- Excellent culinary skills, including meal preparation and presentation
- Ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
The home is located in a village, you will need reliable transport as the public transport is poor
